The Master of Business Administration [International] being delivered at AIBT is wholly owned by the Edith Cowan University of Australia and was developed by senior academic staff at the Edith Cowan University after undertaking a research to assess the needs of the Industry. One unique feature about this MBA program is that it is a program by course work and not research. What this means is that students are not required to present a dissertation as part of the fulfillment to receive the award. Even if presentation of a dissertation is not part of the requirement to fulfill all the requirements of being awarded the MBA, this program still remains challenging as Case Studies relating to real business situations are done in all the units covered.
Another feature about this MBA is its convenience in terms of delivery of classes. All classes are conducted on part-time mode on weeknights [17:00 - 20:00] and Saturdays [08:00 - 17:00]. This feature therefore allows the working class maintain their work commitments while pursuing the MBA.
The MBA is available both in Lusaka at Kabulonga Campus and Kitwe at Lechwe Trust School. Note that classes for Kitwe are conducted on Saturdays only.
Students pursuing this MBA have several options in terms of duration in which the MBA can be attained. The several options are available in order for students to take up an option that will suit the available resources in terms of money and time.
